The Walnut Hall Table
First coat of oil on the hall table. The ribbon figure from part 2 just turned to smoke under the finish. This is the moment that pays for all the sanding.

The first thing I ever built was a sauna bench, because in Norway that counts as a starter project. It was terrible. The second one is still in my parents' cabin twenty years later.
Storm Ingunn took down four hundred trees around Bergen in 2024. I bought a chainsaw mill and stopped buying lumber. Every piece I sell names the tree it came from.
I build furniture from trees that came down in west-coast storms. Everything is milled, dried and finished in a garage that fits one workbench and exactly zero cars.
